Ceilidh is social country dancing originating from Scotland and
Ireland. The beauty of Ceilidh dancing is that no experience is
necessary and everyone from 9 to 90 can participate and have fun.
Traditionally, music has always been provided by a Ceilidh band.
As part of your wedding reception disco entertainment in Northern
Ireland, I can include a session or two of Ceilidh (Ceili) dancing and combine
it with your disco.

Not done it before? No problem. I invite your guests onto the
dance floor, taking them through the moves, then call the
instructions throughout the dance. It won't be a perfect performance
of Ceilidh dances, but I promise it will be fun.
I have a large repertoire of dances which include both Irish Ceili and Scottish Ceilidh dances. You can opt for one or the other, or a mixture of both.
A Ceilidh (Ceili) Band in NI (Northern Ireland) will often perform a
continuous set of one to two hours. By incorporating your Ceilidh
Dancing with your disco you can decide when and for how long you
want each session. As I would be providing both the Ceilidh and
disco music, you can adjust each session to suit you and
your guests as the evening unfolds, or just have a Ceilidh dance popped in when needed.
For many venues in Northern Ireland, there is an issue of space when
you choose to have a Ceilidh band and a disco for your wedding
reception. By choosing me to provide both services, you
have more room to dance, and less interruptions as the band is
assembling and packing away.
So now you can 'Strip the Willow' with your 'Dashing White
Sergeant'!
